What does a trade fair DJ cost?
My fee starts at €1,200 net for a reception or stand party (2 to 4 hours) and at €1,900 for a full fair day. Several days and live musicians are quoted individually. Travel, accommodation and technical setup depend on the fair location and appear as separate lines in your quote.
What does a DJ bring to a trade fair stand?
People who hear music in the aisle and see people at your stand are more likely to stop. In the evening the music gives your guests a reason to stay after the last meeting. I do not promise you a visitor count.
Will it be too loud for conversations?
Only if you want it to be. During the day the DJ plays so that your stand staff can advise at normal volume. The hall sets the limit.
Who plays at my stand?
I pick the DJ based on your briefing, often I play myself. You know their name before you book, and I stay your contact.
Does the music fit the brand?
That is what the briefing is for: brand, guests, occasion. Tell me upfront what should not be played.
Is technical setup included?
Technical setup is a separate line in the quote, or we use the system already on the stand. I check what is there in the briefing.
What do you need for a quote?
Fair and city, date and format are enough to start. Performance times, stand size and existing equipment help.
Which trade fair cities?
All over Germany, for example Frankfurt, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Munich, Hanover, Berlin, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Essen. I am based in Dortmund, travel appears as a separate line in the quote. Music rules per fairground
Can saxophone, percussion or vocals be added?
Yes, if it fits the brand and the stand. I use them in individual sets.
